In fact, some RFID chips can store data, so it’s very useful to use this function: it avoids the need to develop, pay for networks and store information in a database: the data is actually in the PPE chip!
PPE counters on a bag of laundry can be read and updated in less than 10 seconds!
The security of data writing means that not just any operation can be authorized on this chip.
Our proposal: embedded software on the Android smartphone plus a UHF “sled” (pistol reader).
We supply software (to be developed according to this idea or your own), an RFID chip-reading handle that attaches quickly to the smartphone, and chips that can be sewn on, self-adhesive or inserted into clothing.
The software allows you to identify the PPE, write down and check the counter of each chip belonging to its supply and not those of others!
What does the law say about PPE maintenance?
Cour de cassation, social chamber, April 10, 2013, no. 12-16225: “the employer must financially assume the maintenance of work clothing inherent to the function performed and the wearing of which is compulsory for employees”.
By accurately identifying the PPE you need to maintain, we make it easy for you to comply with the law.
