Barcode reader test apps for any smartphone or computer
Do you want to improve your barcode processes and know what’s really marked IN your codes? We have two free barcode scanning applications: cross-platform via the Web and native to Android
- both allow you to read at least one barcode at a time,
- for this function, we cover all possible computers: Android, Apple, iOS, Windows and Linux. Differences and possibilities between native and web-based apps
Web application: universal (computer or mobile), within the limits of possible functions
Functions:
capture and display of the smartphone’s geographical position (with reservations: do not use in mountainous terrain or at sea),
camera scan button for the 1st barcode that passes in front of the camera, displaying its code content and symbol font (symbology)
Native Android application: apk
The native application is designed for all ANDROID terminals and tablets, with a choice of one of the following reading devices: imager, scan finger, smartphone camera. But here, to simplify use and installation, we’ve only kept the camera reading. Functions:
- OCR and barcode reading via camera,
- on-the-fly single and multi-code reading via camera
- Augmented reality for finding a given code among a multitude (limited to 30 trials)
