Productivity doubled in a glasses manufacturer

Gains achieved:

- Increased volume to an equal number of machines and people, from 50% to 96%. In other words, the volume was practically doubled in 16 weeks.

- Rejections have decreased from 8% to 3% over the same period.

Company description:

Injection, treatment, cutting and assembly of polycarbon glass, about 100 employees.

He put in place the 5S and got them running, initiating and following up a step in productivity of continuous improvement. This was done in a workshop of 15 2x8 presses to begin with and then in a factory cutting and assembling glasses.

In these two projects, the results very quickly exceeded our first objectives thanks notably to the competence of William Piedfort. He managed to motivate the teams perfectly in the project, especially middle management, who proved to be a very effificent pilot before adopting the step fully and making it part of daily life.
